This is a must-have for any lowered car, since lowered vehicles have an increased tie rod angle, which provides unwanted changes in toe throughout the suspension travel.

2024 Aluminum is stronger than 6061 used by many other manufacturers, and it will withstand more stress cycles than 6061 or 7075. The perfect material for this critical steering component.
Surpassing the quality and strength of anything currently on the market
The tie rod body is made from US Made 2024 Aluminum, an alloy which uses copper as it's primary alloying element to deliver a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent fatigue resistance compared to 6061 or 7075, which are commonly used.
The stud is machined from US Made 4140 Chromoly steel, and utilizes class 3 threads commonly used for aerospace applications do to its increased strength for lateral loads.
Finally, our heim joints are teflon-lined and made from 4130 Chromoly, for superior strength and longevity.

FAQs
Why would I need a bumpsteer kit?
If you've lowered your car, you likely need a bumpsteer kit. When the car is lowered, the spindle is now in a higher position relative to the chassis, which results in an increased tie rod angle. The increased tie rod angle will cause the wheels to "toe in" when the suspension is compressed (i.e. braking), causing a decrease in front grip and a loss of steering response. Our bumpsteer kit increases the height of the outer tie rod, and allows this heigh to be adjusted to your specific needs.
What's the difference between the "Classic" and the "Shimless" bumpsteer kit?
Our classic bumpsteer kit uses shims to set the amount of bumpsteer compensation, whereas our shimless bumpsteer kit uses a threaded heim joint and a jam nut. If you want more convenient and precise adjustment, the Shimless kit is recommended. If you are on a budget and/or you do not expect to be making ride height & bumpsteer adjustments, the classic bumpsteer kit is a great option.
